< Code Of Conduct >
This Code of Conduct applies to your participation in, or access to (a) www.sprintqa.com and all corresponding domains, subdomains, web pages and websites associated therewith (the “Site”), (b) Sprint QA courses, workshops, career track programs, or other programs (collectively, “Programs”), and (c) any other content, applications, features, functionality, communication platforms, live events, information and services offered on or through the Site (the foregoing subsections (a), (b), and (c) are collectively referred to herein as the “Services”). This Code of Conduct is in addition to the Terms of Service and shall not limit the Terms of Service in any way. The terms “you” or “your” means the users of the Services, including but not limited to Participants and Students (each as defined below).
By using our Services in any capacity, including but not limited to as a mentor, career coach, staff member, technical assistant, community manager, host, reviewer, mock interviewer, external party, vendor, contractor, or any other similar relationship with Sprint QA (collectively, “Participants”) or as a student registered in Sprint QA Program (“Students”), you agree to this Code of Conduct. Any violation of this Code of Conduct, as determined in the sole discretion of SlideRule Labs, Inc. (“Sprint QA”, “we”, or “our”), can result in the termination of your participation in any Program and access to and use of the Services without reimbursement, depending on Sprint QA’s refund policy outlined in your Enrollment Agreement and other documents.
Participants and Students shall only communicate with one another using the communication methods approved by Sprint QA. Participants and Students may only send one another communications and content related to the Programs that the Participants and Students are involved with. In communicating with one another, or using the Services, Participants and Students will not use language, send communications, or post content, that is discriminatory (including without limitation on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, gender, national or ethnic origin, age, disability, or sexual orientation), threatening, harassing, disrespectful, sexually explicit, unlawful, profane, tortious, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another’s privacy, or that amounts to Spam.
Professionalism and Code of Ethics
We expect our Students and Participants to adhere to principles of academic and professional integrity including honesty, fairness, and respect.
We expect our students, mentors, and all of our support staff to engage in a professional, respectful manner. We require all written and verbal communication to be professionally relevant to the enrolled course’s material, such as projects and mini-projects, career networking, career growth, gaining new skills, and being supportive of each person’s reasons for taking the course. We ask that all participants be thoughtful, respectful, and constructive. Wrestling with conflicting ideas, working through challenges, and debating perspectives is great but negativity, rude or derogatory language, or any communications that lack respect for the recipient will not be tolerated.
Sprint QA reserves the right to terminate, at its sole discretion, any Participant or Student who does not adhere to this standard of academic and professional integrity.
Sprint QA has a zero-tolerance policy on harassment. Harassment includes any behaviors that create an atmosphere of hostility or intimidation, including but not limited to any unwanted communication (whether or not related to a Program), or any repeated communication following a request from the recipient or Sprint QA to cease communicating with the recipient. We aim to create a positive, safe, inclusive and supportive community regardless of politics, religion, race, age, disability, gender or gender identity, appearance, sexual orientation, career stage or experience, financial situation, location, or culture. Each Participant and Student contributes to the tone and culture of the community. Sprint QA is committed to creating a safe space for everyone. Discussion, comments, actions, or content that promotes hate of any kind are not tolerated and may result in you being removed from the community and any groups or courses you may have paid to gain access to. In addition to removal of a violator from the Program, and a ban of a violator’s access and use of the Services, Sprint QA reserves the right to forward such matters to law enforcement.
Participants and Students shall not publish or otherwise share with third parties their communications or details about their communications with other Participants or Students (excluding Sprint QA) without the other’s prior express consent. This includes, for example, recording meetings between mentors and students, posting communications to online video sharing and social media platforms or websites, and more.
Sprint QA does not require in-person meetings between Participants and Students. Any such meeting is done at a Participants and Student’s own risk, and each participant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sprint QA and its officers, directors, employees, and agents for any injury sustained during any in-person meeting.
Professional Relationships between Participants and Students
For the duration of a Student’s participation in any Program(s), Participants should only engage professional relationships related to the Programs and are strictly prohibited from establishing and engaging in any form of romantic or consensual sexual relationships with Students.
