Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Spring QA located?
Sprint QA is located in Phoenix, AZ. However, all of our classes take place entirely online. Various students
who reside in the same city create their groups and meet up on their own accord. Students do not work out
of our offices, and can take classes from anywhere.
What is the cost of Sprint QA Bootcamp?
Our pricing varies each batch and country to country. In general, you can expect to pay a program fee of $5,000 and an additional 100% of your first paycheck as part of our income sharing agreement. We do have monthly payment plans to help our students. Our registration fee of $1,000 is not refundable, however, we do allow you to transfer it towards the following batch should there be an emergency.
The course hours don't work for me. Can I attend on my own time?
It is totally up to you, but we do recommend finding a great place where you can grow and get much
needed experience. Since QA automation engineers tend to get raises fairly quickly year over year, we do
recommend not over optimizing your job search and getting a job as fast as possible.
Does Sprint QA help me get a job?
Yes. We do everything we possibly can! We have a full team dedicated to career development. They help
you prepare a resume and portfolio, practice interviews, and even help you in salary negotiation. We even
leverage Alexa to polish learners via mock interviews. At the end of the day though, you’re the one who
needs to apply, interview, and land the job.
What computer specs do I need?
1.6 GHz Processor
120 GB Hard Drive
Web Cam
2 GHz Processor
256 GB Hard Drive (preferably solid state)
Recommended operating systems: macOS and Windows 10
Other versions of Windows work but students should anticipate occasional environment issues.
Chromebooks are not supported, as coursework involves installing and running software locally.
Do I need to be a US citizen to be a student?

No. We have students from all over the world, but the first preference is given to US students due to time, English proficiency, and Spring QA’s intimate knowledge and recruiter network within US borders. Almost all courses are taught on ARIZONA time(sometimes PST; sometimes MST) so it’s important to think about how you will adjust according to your time zone.

I work full time but really want to join Sprint QA. What options do I have?
It is not impossible, but would be very difficult and you need to know your capacity before starting. We do
offer continuous support, but missing even a single class within our intensive & immersive class could
negatively affect your participation. It is 4 month investment in yourself, so laser-focus, perfect
attendance, and hard work is a must to succeed.
Do you offer any scholarships or discounts?
Yes. Even thought Sprint QA is 3 to 5 times more affordable than traditional universities and similar coding
Bootcamps, we believe in giving a hand up to select hungry & diverse learners. We are especially focused
on helping women, minorities, immigrants, refugees, and folks in the rural communities.
